My surgeon, Dr. Keggi, cleared me for more activity saying I can't break anything now. I just need to avoid impact training for another couple of months. I'm nine weeks post surgery and I have about 90% of my range of motion back. I meet with my trainer, Patrick, on Monday to put together a weight training program. Patrick and my primary care physician, Dr. Greene, opened a private gym last month just for Dr. Greene's patients. Patrick will put together a program that I can follow on my own at my company's fitness center below. I'm walking about 3 miles a day and will continue to work on my cardio as we build muscle. The first test will be a backpacking trip sometime around July 4th. If the snow melts, maybe Yosemite, otherwise, Vermont on the Appalachian Trail. Thanks for following my progress!
