Getting Stronger All The Time

Great progress this week! I've been working with Patrick below since early January. Patrick is a former UCONN Offensive Lineman and great motivator. He is definitely changing the shape of my body. This week I completed 5 days of weight lifting and hit my step goals averaging 5 miles of walking a day. I kept the weight off during the winter recovery and I'm now 14 pounds lighter than last August. Our goal is to put on about 6-8 lbs of muscle weight while burning the rest of that lingering belly fat. I'm planning to test out the new hip backpacking this spring on the Appalachian Trail with a short two day trip in Connecticut and a more ambitious trip on the trail in Vermont.
