Mark took some great pictures that I wanted to get up here for you too see. Before I embark on my Day 4 description I had to put these up for another view of heaven. The first picture is from the water taxi taking us up the channel to Upper Echo Lake. The guys day hiked around Lake Aloha as I headed out. That's me and Wayne on the snowpack around the lake in Pic 2. We ran across our favorite mammal, a Yellow Bellied Marmot in pic 3!! They love sunning on the granite but they are very shy.
Pic 4 is the hike up Mosquito Pass at a PCT trail marker. Pic 5 is looking back to Lake Aloha from Mosquito Pass. Lake Aloha is a very large lake created via the flooding of a valley. The lake is relatively shallow with a number of expired tree stumps dotting it's landscape. Mark and Wayne made the trip over Mosquito Pass to try the fishing at Clyde lake here in Pic 6.
